How do I act like the King’s servant at a Wassail?

OK so every year out chior has a "wassail". It’s like a renisance festival. And i am suposed to be the king’s servant girl and clear tables and stuff. But i wasn’t sure how i should look, act, and my chior teacher wanted me to find out my social class and how people would treat me and act towards me if i was a servant girl. Anyone have info on those three things? greatly appreiciated!!!! Thanks!

The spirit of the festival is one of good cheer and above all good health. I would wear something long and heavy a heavy plan wool dress or wool skirt. Wear plane shoes or sandals. And above all a bonnet of some sort.

I would act sort of loud and hearty. Greet everyone and make sure they’re in a good mood. Be very cheery. Wish everyone you see "good health". If you’re serving for real, preempt their order. And suggest stuff that’s good for them. Remember fat people back in those days were seen as "healthy", so make larger people feel good that they are in good standing with the wassail times. Compliment their wives’s cooking or their own cooking if it’s a woman. "Because we never know where the next meal is coming from" Ask people about their health, and console them if they’re sick, and suggest people make toasts to their health.
